The right seat for every age
Tell us your child's age and weight when you book and we'll match the seat to them.
Infant Carrier
Birth to approx. 13kgA rear-facing seat for babies, typically used from birth until around 12–15 months.
Child Seat
Approx. 9kg to 18kgA harnessed seat for toddlers and young children, typically from around 9 months to 4 years.
Booster Seat
Approx. 15kg to 36kgFor older children, used with the vehicle's seat belt, typically from around 4 to 12 years.
Tell us when you book
Add a baby or child seat to your booking and give your child's age and weight — online, by phone or through your education account.
We confirm the seat
We confirm the right seat against your booking in advance, so it's ready before the journey.
Fitted before you travel
Your driver arrives with the seat fitted. Please check your child is secured before you set off.
Extra support on the journey
Where arranged as part of a contract, a passenger assistant can travel alongside the driver to support younger or more vulnerable students during the journey.

School run transport is subject to appropriate licensing, DBS requirements, safeguarding arrangements, suitable vehicles, trained personnel and individual contract requirements.
